Diversity in Business

Technology is changing the education landscape and business schools are working to adapt and embrace the opportunities.

In this edition of Smith Business Close-Up with the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, host Jeff Salkin sits down with Joyce Russell to talk about the innovations in education and her new role leading the charge at the Smith School.

Russell was recently named Senior Associate Dean of Learning at the Smith School. She is also the director of the school’s Executive Coaching and Leadership Development Program. Russell is a licensed industrial and organizational psychologist and has more than 25 years of experience coaching executives and consulting on leadership and career management. She also writes a weekly “Career Coach” column and answers readers’ questions in monthly online chat for the Washington Post’s Capital Business.
