November 12, 2010 Smith School Holds 2nd Annual Complexity in Business Conference in Washington, D.C.

The Center for Complexity in Business (CCB) at the Robert H. Smith School of Business is hosting the second annual Complexity in Business Conference on Friday, November 12 in Washington, D.C. The conference is co-sponsored by the Smith School’s Center for International Business Education Research (CIBER) and the Marketing Science Institute.

Located in the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center in the Smith School’s suite, the conference is a daylong event with talks from thought leaders including keynote speakers Rob Axtell, the department chair of the Computational Social Science department at George Mason University, and Jacob Goldenberg, a marketing professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The second annual Complexity in Business Conference endeavors to be the premier meeting for the intersection of Complex Systems and Business. The conference will be a blend of academics and industry practitioners.

After the event, there will be a networking dinner at Tuscana West, an Italian restaurant in Washington, D.C.
