QUEST Welcomes 90 Students

QUEST Welcomes 90 Students

Ninety students joined the Quality Enhancement Systems and Teams (QUEST) program this year, kicking off the semester with an orientation to their new program.

QUEST is a multidisciplinary, reality- centered program for University of Maryland undergraduates from three participating schools. Students participate in a challenging course of study that focuses on innovation, quality systems management and teamwork and co-curricular programming aimed at bringing diverse knowledge, skill and perspective to enhance their professional and personal development.

This is the third year that QUEST is starting two cohorts of students – cohorts 25 and 26. Each cohort participated in orientation activities August 26-28, 2015, at Camp Letts in Edgewater, Md. The orientation was designed to allow the students to get to know one another, familiarize themselves with the program and meet QUEST faculty and staff. The students tackled ropes course challenges, joined in team building activities and worked in groups on a pilot project.
