Smith Students to Join Buffett-Gates Interview

Watch the Fox Business Network from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, May 5, as students representing the Robert H. Smith School of Business participate in a live interview with Warren Buffett and Bill Gates.

More than 40 Smith finance majors will appear, remotely, from a Van Munching classroom. One of the students will pose a question to Buffett during an interview that wraps up the network’s coverage of the Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholder meeting in Omaha.

Berkshire Vice Chairman Charlie Munger will join Buffett and Gates, Microsoft co-founder and Berkshire shareholder, for the segment.

At least six of the Smith participants are accompanying Tyser Teaching Fellow in Finance David Kass to Omaha for the Berkshire meeting on Saturday, May 3. The trip marks the fifth straight year Kass, a Berkshire shareholder, is accompanying Smith students to the meeting. He also led 20 Smith MBA students to Omaha in November 2013 for a private meeting with Buffett.
