Smith Undergrads Lead with Integrity at LeaderShape 2017

Smith Undergrads Lead with Integrity at LeaderShape 2017

On Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, a group of undergraduates at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business completed The LeaderShape Institute. This annual six-day program is held on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay at YMCA Camp Letts in Edgewater, Md., and offers an intense ethics-based leadership curriculum that encourages students to build community, practice bold visioning, and develop a healthy disregard for the impossible.

Students and faculty engage in a variety of team-building activities, discussions, lectures, and guest speakers, promoting active leadership that will continually shape our world and positively impact the lives of people.  The institute, which is co-sponsored by Target and New Day USA, models the importance of leading with integrity.

The Smith Undergraduate Program offers its sincerest gratitude to Michelle Smith and the Smith family for making this transformative event possible. Together, we can create a caring community of individuals who commit to "Do Good.”
