The University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business ranked as a top five b-school in ethics as part of the 2012 Best B-Schools ranking by Bloomberg Businessweek, published on December 17, 2012.
Last month, Bloomberg Businessweek ranked the Smith School as one of the best MBA programs at No. 24 (No. 9 among public universities) and No. 2 for the quality of its teachers, its career services and overall student satisfaction. (News Release)
The ethics ranking is based on student responses to the question asking them to rank their program’s ethics offerings. Points are awarded for each response and then averaged for each school. The average ethics score for all 82 U.S. and international schools in the ranking was 4.64. The Smith School tied with Yale at 5.58 to round out the top five.
