Fox Troilo is a lecturer at the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business. He is also currently serving as the Managing Director of the Higher Education Research Advisory (HERA) team at Hanover Research. In this role, Dr. Troilo is responsible for the growth and optimization of the higher education division of the company. This includes the design of new research initiatives, creating policies for internal efficiencies, and establishing partnerships with colleges and universities around the globe. Prior to Hanover Research, Dr. Troilo served in the President’s Office at Indiana University Bloomington working to craft the institutional five-year strategic plan. Dr. Troilo also worked for the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and has held positions at Georgetown University and the Smith School. He holds two undergraduate degrees from the Smith School, a graduate certificate from UCLA, an M.Ed from Vanderbilt University, and a Ph.D. from Indiana University Bloomington. Additionally, Dr. Troilo is a local film critic serving the Washington, D.C. region.
