Kenneth Fuller is a full-time Lecturer in the Finance Department at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland since August 2021. Prior to that, he was an adjunct lecturer at Smith from August 2017 through July 2021. He currently teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs, and is the faculty advisor to the Global Equity Fund, a student-managed investment fund. Prior to joining the faculty at Maryland Smith, he was a Managing Director of Legg Mason & Co., LLC, and the President and CEO of Legg Mason Partners Fund Advisor, a fund management company with over 160 mutual funds and $200bil in assets under management. He was the Chairman of the LMP Closed-End Funds Board and the Western Asset Cayman Funds Board, and an interested Trustee on the LMP Equity Funds Board, LMP Fixed Income Funds Board, and the Western/Claymore Funds Board. Previously, he served as a member of the Legg Mason Enterprise Risk Management group, specializing in investment risk analysis. Prior to joining Legg Mason, Ken was a Vice President at T. Rowe Price Associates, and held various positions in asset allocation, risk management, and equity research from 1993 to 2009. He also served as an investment analyst and portfolio manager with the Travelers Investment Management Company, a software engineering and system integration consultant with Booz, Allen & Hamilton, and a mathematician with the National Security Agency. Ken received an MBA from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business, and both an MA and BA in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
