Larry Robertson is a recognized expert in creativity, entrepreneurship and leadership and a highly sought-after advisor, speaker and facilitator. He’s Founder and President of Lighthouse Consulting, a strategic advisory firm he founded in 1992 focused on the practical realities of navigating change and making breakthrough ideas real and lasting.
Larry is the internationally acclaimed author of 3 award-winning books. His first book, A Deliberate Pause: Entrepreneurship and its Moment in Human Progress, has received broad praise for its unique and insightful look at how entrepreneurial ventures actually become successful and have lasting impact. His second book, The Language of Man. Learning to Speak Creativity, takes an unprecedented look at why, when and how creativity can create unique and lasting value. It’s been described as "utterly captivating", "a critical contribution" and "rare... and exactly what you want." Larry’s third book, Rebel Leadership: How to Thrive in Uncertain Times also received wide international acclaim, and has been described by New York Times bestselling author Dan Pink as, “a timely and bold corrective to our understanding of leadership … and a book that should be on every leader’s bookshelf.” His books share 21 distinct honors including: a Gold Medal for Outstanding Nonfiction; A Gold Medal for Entrepreneurship; a Silver Medal for Creative Process; and an award for Most Thought-Provoking Book. He’s currently working on his fourth book about the power and importance of questions.

In 2021, Larry was named a U.S. Fulbright Scholar, a rarity for non-academic professionals. He's a graduate of Stanford University and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a former adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at Georgetown's McDonough School of Business.
Larry has served on numerous for-profit and non-profit boards. Current board roles include: World Peace Game Foundation, Global Leaders Today Magazine and the Forbes School of Business & Technology. His past professional career included roles with J.P. Morgan, the Walt Disney Company and Robertson, Stephens & Company.
