Sadia Alao is the outreach and programs coordinator at the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship, working to increase the reach, visibility, and impact of Dingman programs for university students, alumni, and the local community. While a student at the University of Maryland, Alao was heavily involved in many entrepreneurial programs – Startup Shell, New Venture Practicum, Ladies First Founders, Do Good Institute, and Terp Startup Accelerator to name a few. Alao is a multi-hyphenate creative entrepreneur whose goal is to create authentic and valuable narratives and initiatives for people of color that bridge the gap between multiple, distinct identities and cultures. Her vision is to offer a platform for educational and professional guidance centered around storytelling in a multitude of forms, with little to no barriers of entry.
