Seth Travers has been with the Smith School for nearly six years. He is the Assistant Director and Career Coach for the graduate programs.

Travers has eight years of experience in executive business development in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining the Smith School, he partnered large government integrators with small businesses to execute technical projects and supported private organizations across industries such as supply chain, hospitality, entertainment, sports, and others in their technical transformations.

As an Account Executive for Eliassen Group, Travers developed deep industry knowledge in IT technology and built strong relationships with directors, executives, and managers in the technology, consumer products, distribution, transportation, and automotive industries. He aligned strategic needs with consulting talent and previously served as a Technical Recruiter, managing the full recruiting life cycle, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.

Travers’s industry expertise, business leader relationships, and extensive recruiting experience equip him with a pragmatic understanding of career preparation, enabling him to effectively assist students in preparing for their professional business endeavors.
