Sining Song is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Robert. H. Smith School of Business. Song’s research focuses on sustainability, innovation, and technology management in supply chains and operations management. Her work has won multiple best paper awards and has been published in leading academic journals such as Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, and Information Systems Research.
Prior to joining the Smith School, Song was the Williams and Pamela Lee Faculty Research Fellow, CSX Corporations Faculty Scholar, and Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee. She also brings industry experience in supply chain management, marketing, and finance within the food and retail sectors. Song’s teaching expertise includes global sourcing, sustainability, and supply chain management, for which she has received teaching excellence awards.
