Tony D. Barber is a systems engineer, enterprise architect and IT acquisitions executive with more than 25 years of experience delivering mission-critical solutions across federal and commercial sectors. He has led large-scale, complex systems projects, specializing in cybersecurity, risk analysis and enterprise architecture. A former technical leader at the U.S. Census Bureau, he now serves as a principal technical adviser to the U.S. Army chief information officer, overseeing enterprise decision analytics and IT transformation. He is also a professor at the University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering. Barber holds multiple degrees, including a doctorate in engineering from George Washington University, as well as several professional certifications.
