Xiao Zhang joined the PhD program in the Finance department in 2020 and will be on the job market during the 2025-2026 academic year. His research interests include empirical asset pricing and market microstructure. His studies aim to explain cross-sectional stock return patterns through the trading behavior of heterogeneous investors and explore the real effects of financial markets on the economy.
