“American Ascent” Screening and Panel Discussion

To celebrate Black History Month, the RecWell Adventure Program is hosting a virtual screening of “American Ascent”, a documentary film about the first African-American expedition to climb North America's highest peak, Denali. Following the screening, current and former black Adventure Program student employees will share their experiences of overcoming barriers and finding joy in outdoor recreation. Participants will be invited to join in the discussion by asking the panelists questions.
