Queer Spirituality at the Chapel Gardens & Labyrinth

The LGBTQ+ Equity Center and the Memorial Chapel are collaborating to hold an outdoor space for queer spiritual practice and community. This space welcomes all of UMD's LGBTQ+ and allied communities (undergrads, grad students, staff, and faculty), it's not exclusive to any particular religious/spiritual tradition, and it's open to nontheist/agnostic/humanistic perspectives. We'll be discussing spiritual/personal affirmations and practices that some might name as spiritual, wellness, or personal development. And, we'll be doing it surrounded by the beautiful trees, lawns, and pathways of the Memorial Chapel's Gardens & Labyrinth. Participants will have an opportunity to engage in a practice - such as using the labyrinth, meditation, or doing some journaling or drawing.
