The social contexts in which transgender and gender diverse (TGD) youth navigate contribute to their experiences of support and hostility and, subsequently, their health and well-being. This presentation attends to this critical relationship with a primary focus on TGD youth’s voice and expertise. Critical attention is paid to the ways in which communities and the systems within them can be improved to promote health equity for TGD young people.
