2019 Best & Brightest MBAs Include Maryland Smith’s Stephanie Gomez

Poets&Quants has named Stephanie Gomez (MBA 2019) as among the world’s “2019 Best and Brightest MBAs.”

Stephanie Gomez

According to the news website devoted to the global coverage of business schools, “‘Best & Brightest’ celebrates MBAs whose academic prowess, extracurricular achievements, innate potential, and inspirational life journeys make them standouts in their graduate business schools.”

Gomez, with a background in biological sciences, is joining AstraZeneca as a commercial leadership development program associate. She gave credit particularly to her experience in Associate Dean of Graduate Programs Wendy Moe’s market forecasting class: “Not only does [Moe] have extensive research and experience within corporations, but she also makes a point to share and integrate her experience into the class which is invaluable to her students. She taught us to look holistically at the market and the impact made upon the consumer before even opening an excel sheet. The improvement in my critical thinking and analysis is largely due to the methods learned in her class.’
