On Nov. 20, Cliff Rossi, Professor of the Practice at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, gave the keynote presentation, "Five Years after the Crisis: An Introspective Look at Risk Management," at PRMIA and EY's CRO Risk Summit Dinner in NYC.
"What I would like to do here is to take stock of where risk management has evolved over the last 5 years," said Rossi. "With emphasis on three areas that will shape the direction of the profession going forward; namely risk governance, the effectiveness of regulation to facilitate prudent risk-taking behavior and building the talent base and infrastructure for sustainable risk management in the future."
