The Fall Ball: Dancing Days Are Here Again

The Smith School's Fall Ball, one of the year's most highly anticipated events, will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the Marriott North Bethesda.

Come join Dean Anand and over 300 of your fellow Smith part-time and full-time MBA students, faculty and administration for socializing, dancing - and yes, even some networking.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by a sit-down dinner at 8 p.m. A DJ will start spinning tunes around 9 p.m., and the dancing will continue until 11:30 p.m.

The Fall Ball is co-sponsored by the Full-time and Part-time MBA Associations. The special guest emcee for the evening is William H. Kirvan Jr., a senior vice-president at Merrill Lynch & Co.

The Marriott North Bethesda is located within 100 yards of the White Flint metro station on the Red Line. Free parking and discounted hotel rooms will be available to registered attendees. Attire for the evening is black tie optional, semi-formal.

A limited amount of tickets remain at this time, but are expected to sell quickly. For more information and to purchase tickets, please go to http://ptmbaafallball.eventbrite.com.
