The Ed Snider Center for Enterprise and Markets at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business is pleased to announce a special workshop this summer for educators called Fostering the Entrepreneurial Spirit. Presented with the support of the Ayn Rand Institute and the Cato Institute, the two-day event, created as part of the Enterprise through Literature program, provides high school teachers in the fields of English, business, and social science –especially political science, government and civics – an opportunity to investigate ways to incorporate themes of enterprise and markets into curricula.
The workshop is limited to 20 participants. Teachers accepted to the program will be invited to the University of Maryland, College Park, from July 19-21, 2015. All transportation, food and lodging at a nearby hotel will be arranged for and covered by the Ed Snider Center for Enterprise and Markets.
Please visit the dedicated Enterprise though Literature website to find out more about the program. Applications are being accepted from April 16to May 1, 2015. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by May 30, 2015.
