The Evening MBA

The Evening MBA is structured for students whose schedules would best be supported by evening classes and activities. Complete the program in 30-36 months in one of three locations: Washington, D.C., Shady Grove (Rockville), or Baltimore.

Classes generally meet two nights a week, either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the first half of the program, students take core classes at their home campus – Washington, D.C., Shady Grove, or Baltimore. Electives may be taken at any of these three Smith campuses.

The Weekend MBA

Prospective MBA students who are looking for a part-time option other than weekday evenings need look no further than the Weekend MBA.

It’s an ideal option/schedule for those whose work or weekday schedule won’t accommodate evening classes. Like the Evening MBA, the Weekend MBA program can be completed in 30 – 36 months at our Washington, D.C. location. In the core curriculum, students meet approximately 33-36 Saturdays a year. This works out to three out of four Saturdays per month.

The MBA programs for working professionals at Smith are for those who will not accept anything less than a nationally ranked, marketable MBA with a strategic curriculum, world-class faculty, and a diverse student body.

Program Flexibility and Opportunities to Accelerate

Students can earn Smith's MBA as an Evening student, a Weekend student, or a combination of the two programs at any of our three convenient campuses. Smith's MBA can be earned in as few as twenty-one months or as long as five years. Since 2005, over one-quarter of Smith's part-time MBA students have earned their MBA in 28 months or less; nearly three-quarters in 33 months or less.
