The Full-Time MBA Program at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business is No. 35 among U.S. peer programs in Bloomberg Businessweek’s recently released 100 Best Business Schools.
Bloomberg surveyed about 27,000 MBA students, alumni and recruiters during 2018 to gauge their goals and experiences. The rankings are drawn from the responses, plus job placement and compensation data provided by each school. Among subcategories, Maryland Smith ranked 15th for entrepreneurship.
Bloomberg published the following comments from its Maryland Smith surveys:
“The opportunities for interaction with a diverse network of business professionals in an array of settings, from practicum course sponsors to students in the school's other programs.
“…Access to great professors and executives, classes that worked with local and national businesses to give us real world experience, access and creating an extensive network of peers and mentors that helped create relationships that will last my lifetime.
“It was a highly diverse program in terms of background and cultures and I was able to grow as an individual.
“The range of opportunities for coursework, hands on projects and building leadership experience through student clubs."
