The Ed Snider Center is excited to collaborate with New Day USA to bring high-profile speakers to the University of Maryland campus for the New Day Leadership Forum. The goal of the series is to introduce students to individuals who have distinguished themselves in sports, service, and business and are motivated to share their experience on the opportunities, challenges, and rewards of leadership.
The first event in the series is Fearless Teams: Enterprising Leaders in Sports, Service and Business. In this moderated discussion, Baltimore Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh and Rear Admiral Tom Lynch (USN, Ret.), who commanded the Navy Battle Group in Operation Desert Shield, will share what it takes to lead a team to success. They’ll talk about being a team member, team identity, and team leadership.
Fearless Teams will take place on Wednesday April 20, 2016 at 5 p.m. in Ritchie Coliseum. The event is free and registration is now open.
