College Park, MD - March 20, 1998 - Sabrina L. White has joined the University of Maryland Business School as director of MBA and MS admissions. White is the former director of graduate studies in business for Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
In her previous position, White led in the recruitment, admission, and retention efforts for full and part-time students. She also coordinated the on-campus Executive MBA program, as well as the professional development series for graduate business students.
At the Maryland Business School, White manages the admissions process for applicants to the MBA and MS programs. She also is responsible for marketing the programs to prospective students.
Currently, there are 925 students enrolled in the business school's MBA and MS programs, 497 full-time and 428 part-time students. More than 2,000 applicants vie for approximately 200 places in the full-time incoming class and 160 places in the part-time program each year. The latest U.S. News & World Report surveys rank the Maryland Business School's full-time MBA program 27th and the part-time program 21st nationwide.
White received her MBA, with a concentration in organizational development and training, from Bowling Green. She also holds a BS in Accounting from Clemson University.
