The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business has earned high rankings, including “Best” status, in several categories in the U.S. News & World Report 2025 Best Online Programs released on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025.
According to U.S. News, Smith’s “Best” status includes a No. 14 ranking for Online MBA programs for a ninth consecutive year in the category’s top 15.
Smith also placed in the top ten in subcategories for MBA in marketing at No. 6, and MBA in general management at No. 7, and was No. 12 for MBA for Veterans and No. 17 for MBA in finance.
"The Smith School is committed to the continuing excellence of our online programs. The school is fully running all aspects of these programs with the goal of delivering an exceptional student experience,” said Dean Prabhudev Konana. “As we focus on the business impact of AI and developing technologies, our online programs make critical skills more widely available so students can successfully navigate technological advancement in business and society."
