Bloomberg Businessweek released its 2016 ranking of the best U.S. full-time MBA programs last week. The list includes the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business at No. 33. Smith was given the same ranking by Businessweek for 2015.
Graduate job placement and salary data feed the rankings, as does survey data from corporate recruiters, alumni and students. For the latter, Smith is No. 9.
The new rankings come shortly after a team of Smith full-time MBAs outperformed finalist counterparts from Businessweek-ranked programs at Northwestern (No. 9), Georgetown (No. 34) and Carnegie Mellon (No. 15) to capture the U.S. Chamber Foundation’s inaugural MBA Case Competition.
