The University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business hosted female members of the community (alumni, students, staff, and faculty) for the Second Annual Women Leading Women event on March 1, 2013. This year's guest of honor was Kristen Welch ’90, MBA ’96, senior vice president of global content operations at Discovery Communications. Smith School Vice Dean Joyce E.A. Russell led a discussion with Welch on many topics ranging from work-life balance to advice on how to achieve success in today's business climate. Afterwards, attendees enjoyed a networking event featuring a wine tasting. See video highlights and pictures of the event.
