“Competitive, not cutthroat;” high rankings for faculty quality and student-satisfaction; and a uniquely-advantageous geographical setting are some of the descriptors in a recent Poets and Quants-published snapshot of the full-time MBA Program at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Smith was among just over 40 top MBA programs selected for a “Meet the Class of 2018” series by Poets and Quants, a leading information source on graduate business education with readers spanning 200-plus countries.
According to P&Q, “Perhaps the most underrated aspect of the Smith program is its close proximity to the Washington D.C. metroplex. The area is home to 15 Fortune 500 companies worth a collective $380 billion in revenue.”
Smith’s “diverse” incoming class this fall is represented in profiles of
- Zane Adoum / Laurel, MD
- Isaac Ashong / Accra, Ghana
- Staci Bank / Plainview, NY
- Rakita Garner / Gaston, NC
- Sean Gilson / Frederick, MD
