On Sept. 21, 2010, from noon until 4 p.m., theDingman Center for Entrepreneurship will be hosting Terp Marketplace, an event that draws student entrepreneurs to the Robert H. Smith School of Business in Van Munching Hall to sell their wares and promote their businesses. Last year’s marketplace was a huge success, with students selling products ranging including business card holders, scarves, purses, and jewelry.
Terp Marketplace is open to students, faculty, staff, and members of the community and is part of the Dingman Center’s 25th Anniversary Celebration. It takes place on the first floor of Van Munching Hall in the Pownall Grand Atrium.
This event is run by students and organized by the Maryland Undergraduate Society for Entrepreneurs (MUSE) with support from the Dingman Center. At the end of the event, merchants will make a donation to a local charity selected by MUSE students.
Terp Marketplace will be followed by a Pitch Dingman Competition and keynote address by Michael Dingman, the center’s benefactor, from 6 until 7:30 p.m.
