Beijing, China September 13, 2006 The University of Marylands Robert H. Smith School of Business, a leading provider of Executive MBA programs in China, today announced that it has partnered with CCTV, Chinas national television network, to deliver the Win in China Smith School Business Plan Competition. The contest continues the success and tradition of the Smith Schools annual China Business Plan Competition, now in its second year.
Starting with the competitions scheduled launch in September 2006, participants will be invited to submit their business ideas to win and be eligible for academic scholarships and training programs valued up to a total of $200,000. Prizes will include scholarships in the Smith Schools world-class Executive MBA programs in Beijing and Shanghai. The competitions grand prize winners will be selected in a final round competition in May 2007 to win an expense-paid trip to the Smith Schools U.S. campus for customized training including visits to incubators and individual corporate headquarters from the Smith Schools Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship.
