Shadae is originally from Columbia, SC, and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University. Prior to pursuing her MBA at Smith, she gained experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and e-commerce industries. Seeking to expand her skill set in problem solving, analytics, and critical thinking. Shadae has decided to transition into a new career path. Her aim is to develop more robust strategies and make better informed business decisions.

Yaye Sene
Vice President of Finance

Yaye is currently an MBA in finance and strategy with a passion for unraveling the complexities of the financial markets. She has six years of experience in market research, M&A and consulting and is currently the portfolio manager of the Mayer Fund; an $8M student-led fund. Yaye’s dedication to mastering the art of financial analysis and her commitment to staying updated on market trends and economic indicators underscore her goal of becoming a leading financial strategist in the investment management industry.

I love hiking, reading long novels and learnings new skills and languages (currently fluent in 3 languages with an objective of 6).
