Our mission is to empower Smith students to drive impact, understand emerging economies and make a difference at the social and environmental level throughout their careers.
For students keen in establishing a career in the impact space, our chapter will be building up resources on opportunities, case interviews and target B-corp network.
David Perez

David Perez is pursuing an MBA with a focus in both Finance and Sustainability. His previous work experience includes being an analyst at a Commercial Real Estate Lending REIT and teaching High School English at various public schools in Washington, D.C., his home town. David has a strong professional interest in Community and Regional Banks, and is passionate about business's power to do good.

Luke Pater

Luke Pater is pursuing his MBA with a focus in marketing, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Luke was born and raised in Iowa and studied chemical engineering during undergrad. His previous work experience is in technical sales roles where he worked in utilities, environmental technology, and medical devices. Luke is looking to work in brand marketing for a CPG company after business school.

Ishita Mukharya
Vice President of Finance

Ishita Mukharya, hailing from India, is currently pursuing an MBA with a background in financial services, transitioning into corporate finance. She is passionate about sustainable business practices and is an enthusiastic member of the Net Impact Club, which recently received the Club of the Year award under its current leadership. Ishita has a creative and analytical mind frame, and her interests include dancing, cooking, and painting.

German Salazar
Vice President of Partnerships

German Salazar, from Fredericksburg, Virginia, is pursuing his MBA with a focus on AI and Business Strategy. Previously, he served as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army. For his near term goals he seeks to leverage his leadership and operational experiences to pivot into a role in strategy and business development. For his long term goals he looks to pursue a career in impact investing. Currently, he is a Venture Fellow for a venture capital firm that focuses on impact investments in the Baltimore area.
