New Professional Services Leadership Initiative

The Center for Excellence in Service (CES) and Smith Executive Programs are proud to announce the launch of the inaugural Professional Services Leadership Initiative (PSLI).  This executive education program will be held in two sessions, November 5-7, 2013 and February 25-27, 2014.  Both sessions will be held at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park.  Our corporate partners are Randstad, T. Rowe Price, and Jones Lang LaSalle.  

SMPS University: 2013 Leadership Advancement Program

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is partnering with the Center for Excellence in Service (CES) for the third consecutive year, to offer the 2013 leadership advancement program.  The program, to be held on October 17-18, and November 14-15, is designed for A/E/C marketers and business developers to help them gain the business knowledge they need to advance their careers.

U.S. Small Business Owners to Add 3.8M Jobs in 2011, According to Small Business Success Index

College Park, Md. — March 14, 2011 — U.S. small business owners say they plan to add nearly 3.8 million jobs this year, according to the latest Small Business Success Index, released by the Center for Excellence in Service at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and partner Network Solutions LLC. The semiannual index surveys small business owners to measure the overall health of their businesses and understand how they are using technology.
