Center for Global Business Welcomes 21 Exchange Students and Sends 12 Smith Students Abroad
This fall semester, the Center for Global Business welcomed 21 incoming exchange students to the Robert H. Smith School of Business, providing them with invaluable study abroad opportunities. These experiences empower students to develop essential skills such as building a tolerance for ambiguity, how to develop relationships, and increasing their self-awareness.
Faculty: Learn how to bring collaborative online international learning (COIL) to your course by attending this info session for business faculty. Content will include the why of COIL, examples from across the curriculum, benefits to students, the COIL design process - and more. Faculty from UM System business schools, international partners, and Maryland Smith are invited to attend.

Smith Business Leadership Fellows Take Stock After First Year
Addressing tomorrow’s grand business challenges begins with preparation in the classroom today. And that’s what students at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business have been doing through the Smith Business Leadership Fellows Program.
The seventh annual National Small Business Exporter Summit will take place on Tuesday, October 3 and Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Sessions will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. EST each day.
