DC Entrepreneurs Share Innovation Experience With M&O Society
The Management and Organization Society at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business recently invited undergraduate students to meet with a panel of three local entrepreneurs, all of whom began their journey into innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland. The panelists included Lana Bronipolsky, VP of Finance and the CFO at MPOWER Financial, Julie Giffin, Head of Customer Success at TransitScreen, and Zeluis Teixeira, co-founder and CFO of SOAR Baltimore.

Five Companies Take Home $2,000 Prize at Business and Innovation Showcase
For more than 50 companies at the Business & Innovation Showcase, Friday, April 5, 2013, was game time. Sponsored by BB&T and hosted by the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, the showcase housed entrepreneurs from the Smith School, the university and the region. The showcase, which was held in a packed Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center, also offered an element of competition: five $2,000 prizes were at stake and the competition was fierce.

Smith Undergrads Participate in Innovation Immersion Experience
