The Smith School will celebrate its fifth annual Women Leading Women event with a panel discussion featuring the four previous honorees, who will all return to campus in spring 2016. Joyce Russell, Smith’s senior associate dean of learning, will moderate the discussion on women in leadership roles.

Marketing and sales executive Andrea Brody ’87 discovered her interest in consumer behavior during a Smith School class project. To complete the assignment Brody took her sister to a shopping mall and observed her reaction to in-store advertisements.

Women need advocacy and support at each stage of their careers. While the number of females in management positions is growing, women still have fewer role models and mentors than men.
