Giving Day – the University of Maryland’s 24-hour fundraising event – is nearly here. This year’s event is on March 3. At the Robert H. Smith School of Business, we are inviting students, faculty, staff, parents, friends and alumni to join the university’s largest annual day of giving, celebrating our common bond – our sense of belonging to the wider Terp community.

For 2018, we aim to make Giving Day the single largest day of giving at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, and we need your support to make it a success! On Wednesday, March 7, alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends will come together for one unified purpose: to support the innovation, scholarship and creativity made possible by the Smith School experience.

On March 8, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends will come together for one unified purpose: to support the innovation, scholarship, and creativity made possible by the Smith School experience. 

Giving Day returns to the University of Maryland on Thursday, March 3, giving all members of the Robert H. Smith School of Business community the opportunity to boost their contributions through several hourly contests held across campus. From noon until 2 p.m., the Smith faculty and staff’s donations will be eligible for an extra $3,000 prize to be awarded to the Smith School - if they can donate the most money of any on-campus unit within that timeframe.
