Smith Masters Students Celebrate Diwali

The Smith Master Student Association (SMSA) hosted a festive Diwali celebration in Van Munching Hall on the evening of November 12, 2015. With more than 200 Specialty Masters students in attendance, the event featured choreographed dancers, and traditional Indian food and dress.

Specialty Masters Students Learn to Dine for Success

Networking dinners are a very common part of doing business, and can be a great opportunity to expand one’s relationships. On Nov. 10, 2015, 40 specialty masters students at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business attended a Dining for Success workshop facilitated by Joyce Russell, senior associate dean of learning and teaching, and Jeffrey Kudisch, assistant dean of corporate relations and managing director of the school’s Office of Career Services.

Smith School Receives $10M Gift from Smith Family

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland announced today a gift of $10 million from the Robert H. Smith Family Foundation to support MBA scholarships, undergraduate leadership programs and facility enhancements for the Robert H. Smith School of Business. The gift will also continue to fund the school's Center for Social Value Creation.
