Join us for your first Maryland Smith business analytics class: Introduction to Data Science for Business! In this introductory virtual lecture, Professor Kislaya Prasad will explain what Data Science is and why it is having such a transformative effect on modern business. Prasad will define key terms such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and more. The discussion will also include important use cases from industry and then work through an example, using the statistical programming language R, for illustration. The session will conclude with Q&A.
