The Coping Skills Series will help participants develop a broad range of coping skills applicable to daily life, including managing stress, emotions, and uncertainty, as well as take a deeper dive into the practice of mindfulness.

Advanced registration is not required. The workshops will close to new participants 15 minutes after the start of the workshop. Workshops are held only during fall and spring semesters and do not occur on university holidays or closures.

In this seminar, venture capital investor and OUP principal Manny Stockman will take you step-by-step through the life of a company, illustrating the different types of equity, the pros and cons of each equity-type depending on different company outcomes, and the economic effect this has on founders' shares. Data will be presented to support the conversation around founders' equity, the right allocation between faculty vs. post-docs vs. grad students, and how much equity one needs to give away to attract and keep your top talent.
