Supply Chain Management Center
The Supply Chain Management Center at the Robert H. Smith School of Business is dedicated to conducting research and education designed to further the discipline of supply chain management.
The center operates under a single strategic vision for supply chain management: The real-time, risk-tolerant, collaborative, end-to-end, tech-enabled supply chain.
This vision drives our work and our areas of focus, which include:
- Integrating supply chain best practices, thought leadership and technologies into the undergraduate and graduate programs in Supply Chain Management at the Smith School
- Executing a supply chain thought leadership research agenda that supports the supply chain curriculum at all levels
- Publishing and otherwise disseminating Center research work through online and print mediums
- Enhancing the overall Smith School brand as an acknowledged leader in supply chain education and research.
Through innovative initiatives and programs, the SCMC has earned a reputation for excellence in supply chain management education and research among students, practitioners and policymakers.
