College Park, Md. February 7, 2006 - The Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland today announced that S. Tien Wong, chief executive officer of Opus8, Inc., a Md.-based private investment firm, will join the schools Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship.
The Smith Schools Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship recently hosted two MBA interns from the University of Groningen, Netherlands an experience that helped the Dutch students gain U.S. insight, as well as further promote international understanding for the U.S. students at the center.

Smith School of Business and TiE-DC, one of Washington's largest business networking organizations, today announced the launch of the TiE-Smith Fellows Program, a 14-week program that will provide area entrepreneurs with mentorship and support.
Finance guru Warren Buffett, the worlds second wealthiest man, met with Smith students on May 22 as part of a trip organized by the school's Finance, Banking and Investment Society, an undergraduate student group. Buffett answered questions from 48 students for several hours at his office in Nebraska.
