Strategic Design Fellows

The Strategic Design Fellows is a competitive program that allows students to view business from a lens of creativity and empathy while applying design thinking to real-world business problems. In this three-semester program carried out during the fall of students’ junior and senior years, students take courses on design and branding in marketing, design applications, and computer graphics. Semester-long team projects allow students to apply their knowledge and design-thinking skills by developing a retail concept and pitching it to real estate developers, rebranding a product, company or nonprofit and pitching it to stakeholders while developing their own online portfolio to use in the recruitment process.

Marketing Courses

The Marketing Department places a heavy focus on developing courses that revolve around experiential learning and teach students through hands-on methods. Whether it be in digital marketing, integrated marketing communications, customer-centric innovation, or strategic marketing, students are given the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge and skills to real-life projects. Learning directly from featured guest speakers who are marketing practitioners in the field, students are well-prepared to have a competitive advantage when entering the job market post-graduation.
