Top Scholars Teach Undergrads

Smith’s world-class faculty are known for their teaching excellence. And unlike at many business schools, these professors don’t just teach graduate students. Many of Smith’s most accomplished scholars are in the classroom with undergraduates.

“We’re very proud of the way we’ve flipped the model,” says Dean Prabhudev Konana. “It’s very unusual in public universities to have top research faculty working directly with undergraduates.”

In spring 2024, 27 research faculty taught undergraduate classes, often bringing decades of experience and scholarship to their lessons.
