A group of MBA students from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business traveled to New York City to attend the 5th Annual Asian MBA Leadership Conference and Career Exposition Forum, September 19 – 21, 2013, at the Hilton NYC.
The Asian MBA Conference attracted over 2,500 top Asian students (both undergrad and graduate level), professionals, and Fortune 500 employers such as IBM, GE, P&G, Facebook, Wells Fargo, and Kimberley-Clark.
In addition, the Smith School’s Asian MBA Association organized an NYC Alumni Mixer at Butterfield 8 on September 20. Alumni from IBM, Unilever, Verizon Wireless, Citibank, Deloitte, and Credit Suisse offered the students candid advice on seeking career opportunities in the region and around the world.
Asian MBA is one of the largest professional organizations in the U.S. that offers opportunities for career, leadership development, and networking in U.S. and pan Asia regions.
