Beijing, China September 13, 2006 The University of Marylands Robert H. Smith School of Business, a leading provider of Executive MBA programs in China, today announced that it has partnered with CCTV, Chinas national television network, to deliver the Win in China Smith School Business Plan Competition.
Net Impact, a Smith MBA club, recently hosted a dialogue with the New York Times bestselling author Dr. Mark Albion. Albion spoke on successful leaders and socially responsible businesses. He also highlighted various points made in his latest book, "True to Yourself: Leading a Values-Based Business.

Smiths Center for Global Businesshosted a lunch for international exchange students on Monday, September 11, 2006, in the Executive Dining Room. Students from Denmark, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, China, and Taiwan attended the event.
On Friday, September 8, Freshman Convocation will kick off Business Week - an annual event for undergrads at Smith. The previous week, 250 freshmen played games, bonded over meals and helped each other complete a ropes course and climbing wall as part of their orientation to the Smith Undergraduate Fellows Program.
