Smith Students Attend 5th Annual Asian MBA Conference

A group of MBA students from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business traveled to New York City to attend the 5th Annual Asian MBA Leadership Conference and Career Exposition Forum, September 19 – 21, 2013, at the Hilton NYC. The Asian MBA Conference attracted over 2,500 top Asian students (both undergrad and graduate level), professionals, and Fortune 500 employers such as IBM, GE, P&G, Facebook, Wells Fargo, and Kimberley-Clark.

Marketing Analytics Roundtable Highlights

The Robert H. Smith School of Business’s Center for Complexity in Business held its second-annual Digital Marketing Analytics Roundtable Aug. 1, 2013 at the Smith Suite in the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C. The roundtable was held in collaboration with Teradata. Smith marketing faculty members Bill Rand, the director of CCB, and Roland Rust, the executive director of CCB, led the event. 

University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business Launches Online MBA Program

College Park, Md. – June 17, 2013 – The Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland will offer an online MBA program beginning in January 2014. Designed to accommodate working professionals, the flexible online program allows students to earn an MBA degree largely on their own time with minimal on-campus requirements. The program courses are taught by the same top faculty and adhere to the academic rigor of the Smith School’s other top MBA programs.
