Finance Majors Participate in Emerging CFOs Case Competition

Facing real-world corporate challenges, working on a team to find solutions and presenting the findings within a few days to knowledgeable and invested professionals is a tough way to earn a grade – and some money. But that is exactly what more than two dozen undergraduate finance majors did on April 6, 2018, when they participated in the Emerging CFOs Case Competition.

Smith Students Providing Tax Filing Assistance

For the fourth consecutive year, students of the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business are preparing income tax returns for UMD students and staff, as well as individuals from the surrounding community.

Smith’s Master Service Club has been providing the service from 6-9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, in 3505 Van Munching Hall.
