Smith students at the schools Shady Grove campus pulled off a professional and very successful daylong entrepreneurship conference on Saturday, April 14. About 250 people attended the Turning Your Passion Into Profit entrepreneurship conference, organized by undergraduates in Smiths chapter of CEO (Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization) at the Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, Md.

The Smith Entrepreneurship Club is pleased to announce the Venture Capital Investment Competition on February 14-16, 2007 at the Smith School of Business. In the competition, MBA students judge the business plans and pitches of local start-up companies currently seeking funding, choose a company in which to invest, and produce a term sheet for the investment.
The Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship is growing its Capital Access Network (CAN) program, which provides open and efficient access to early-stage capital for entrepreneurs in the Washington, D.C., metro area.
